  1. 1/2 Col o repollo
  2. 2 Patatas pequeñas o 1 grande
  3. 2 dientes Ajo
  4. 1 cda Pimentón de la Vera
  5. 1 chorrito Aceite de oliva
  6. 2 Huevos
  7. 1 cdts de café Vinagre
  8. 250 gr Agua (para preparación en Thermomix)

Instructions to make to make Col a la gallega

  1. Preparación tradicional:
    Limpiamos las hojas de col, desechando las primeras hojas y las cortamos a tiras. Pelamos y troceamos la patata. Hervimos en una olla con agua durante unos 30 minutos.
  2. Pelamos y machacamos ligeramente los dientes de ajo. En una sartén con un chorrito de aceite, freímos el ajo sin que llegue a dorarse demasiado. Retiramos del fuego y le añadimos el pimentón de la Vera y una cucharadita de vinagre. Removemos.
  3. Cuando la col y la patata estén hervidas retiramos del fuego y escurrimos reservando un par de cucharaditas del caldo de cocción. Machacamos ligeramente con un tenedor.
  4. En la sartén donde tenemos la ajada, le añadimos la patata y la col machadas. Le añadimos también un par de cucharaditas del caldo de cocción y salteamos todo junto durante unos 3-4 minutos mientras vamos machacándolo todo con una cuchara de madera.
  5. Freímos un huevo en aceite de oliva por persona.
  6. Servimos la col a la gallega con el huevo frito encima y espolvoreamos una pizca de pimentón de la Vera. Ya veréis que rico al romper el huevo!!
  7. Preparación en Thermomix:
    Introducimos la col en el vaso cortada a trozos y trituramos 3-4 segundos a velocidad 4. Reservamos.
  8. Añadimos los dientes de ajo pelados en el vaso junto al aceite de oliva. Trituramos 4 segundos velocidad 6 y sofreímos 3 minutos, temperatura 100º, velocidad 2. Añadimos la cucharada de vinagre y el pimentón.
  9. Añadimos la col, una pizca de sal al gusto y el agua. Programamos 40 minutos, temperatura Varoma, giro a la izquierda, velocidad cuchara. Cuando lleve 20 minutos aproximadamente añadimos la patata pelada y cortada a trocitos.
  10. Servimos la col a la gallega con el huevo frito encima y espolvoreamos una pizca de pimentón de la Vera.
